Western Machinery Electric - Diesel Generator Update
If you‚ve got a diesel generator and it’s getting a little long in the tooth, then you’re probably looking at a replacement pretty soon. Not because what you own doesn’t‚ work, but because the regulators have radically changed the laws.
Our friends at Western Machinery Electric are the presenters this month, with the above subject under discussion. The Bay Area Air Quality Management District is going to be one of the stickier outfits to deal with, so the top of the topic will be their emission requirements and how they will impact you. They’ll also talk about the “Tier” ratings and how Permits to Construct and Operate are generated, as well as the current requirements for reporting operating hours and conditions.
It ain’ gonna be easy, that’s for sure. This is the time to learn, Because 2010 is almost here.
