25-Seven Systems will be presenting “A Brief History of Time Compression” which explains the research and development that has lead to time compression techniques now being applied to broadcast technology. It is an educational piece that looks at the history of research done in the field of audio intelligibility and comprehension and addresses what manipulation of audio can be done in the name of time compression
Sinbad’s Restaurant at Pier 2, as always, is the meeting place. Wednesday the 26th of May is the date and the times are 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
