Brian Walker, who is the Market Development Manager for Sennheiser Electronics, is making a return visit (he was here in January, when the FCC presented.) His specialty is wireless mic systems, which seems to be something that Sennheiser is concentrating on. Don’t get me wrong; I’ve used, and am using, lots of their stuff, and it’s worked, and continues to work, just great.
They’ve got a new one, the Digital 9000 system, which they’re marketing into all kinds of venues, from live theatre to rock concerts to broadcasters. The claim is, in their words, is that it…”offers uncompressed digital audio transmission, free from intermodulation, with stunning purity of sound and dynamics far ahead of analog wireless transmission.” You heard it here first.
Now, the really GOOD news; they’re buying lunch! So, bring an appetite.
As I’m sure we all know, but I’ll repeat it anyway, is that Sinbad’s Restaurant at Pier 2 is the meeting place. Wednesday the 31st of July is the date, and the times are 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM, with No-Host bar. We sit down to lunch sometime between 12:00 and 12:30, with the presentation at 1:00 p.m. or so. Valet parking is $6.00. Worth it, too, if you’ve ever compared parking rates around there.
Please RSVP by return e-mail, or call me at 925-727-2628.
